Responsibility
- at Ducklings Childcare our ethos is all about creating a family atmosphere in a safe, secure environment
- \* Supporting in the smooth daily running - interacting with the children, planning, setting up and cleaning down
- \* Making sure all children's needs are met. Keeping them safe at all times
- \* To deliver the Development matters framework in accordance to setting policies and procedures
- \* To observe each child's progress and report on achievements
- ducklings is a privately owned converted Georgian townhouse and we pride ourselves on our home from home feel as well as our large walled garden with beautiful lawns
- \* To be a key person
- ducklings have recently received an Outstanding grade from Ofsted and due to expanding we are now looking for a Nursery Room Leader to join our team
Education
- GCSE or equivalent
Requirements
- previous experience working in a nursery or early childhood education setting
- at least 2 references from previous employers
- strong knowledge of child development principles and practices
- DBS check and enrolled onto the update service
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to lead and motivate a team of nursery staff
- familiarity with relevant health and safety regulations
