  • daily cleaning duties which include dusting and cleaning, wiping surface areas and making sure all areas are neat and tidy
  • disposing of rubbish from bins and containers
  • cleaning all floors/ doors, general touchpoint areas
  • cleaning all toilets, staff kitchen, offices and warehouse floor
  • keeping the cleaning area with products tidy and ordering any new products when required
  • hours: 16 hours per week. There is flexibility as to how this could work but we would require consistency once in role

  • ability to prioritise and manage an ever-changing workload
  • cleaning experience to a high standard is essential

  • taking new ideas and helping develop them into beautiful and functional products from prototype to production
  • evolving and improving current products
  • managing the development process critical pathway within the team and across the business
  • liaising with our manufacturers and suppliers, developing good relationships, managing the development, cost negotiations, lead times, and MOQs
  • submitting development specifications to factories and providing technical support
  • ensuring all samples received from the manufacturers are on time and as expected
  • finalising and getting sign-off on all samples before bulk order placement
  • researching relevant materials and processes with an eye on innovative solutions

Requirements

  • able to work independently and collaboratively
  • proficient in SOLIDWORKS
  • skilled in producing prototypes and performing functionality tests
  • familiar and experienced in product testing, certifications and compliance
  • knowledgeable in manufacturing techniques and processes
  • comfortable making samples, e.g. using laser cutters and 3D printers
  • willing to travel occasionally to production facilities in China, India and Europe
  • keen to be involved, with a hands-on approach
