  • there will be no planning involved as a cover supervisor. All planning and subject matter will be provided by the teacher
  • dovetail and Slate Education are working with a secondary schools in the Kent area who are looking for experienced Cover Supervisor who can cover curriculum subjects from KS3 & KS4
  • individuals will be required to work with schools where strong behaviour management will be crucial and there will be some schools where flexibility and movement throughout the school is essential

Requirements

  • strong behaviour management skills
  • the flexibility to cover at short notice
  • excellent communication, written and verbal skills
  • good knowledge to cover secondary curriculum
  • knowledge of special or additional needs
  • strong ability to manage lessons and ensure students are working quietly under supervision
  • the position is permanent, term time only
  • teaching: 1 year
