Requirements
- relevant qualifications as an HGV mechanic
- proven experience working on HGVs, trailers, and vans
- strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- attention to detail and a commitment to safety
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
- class 1 driving licence
Responsibility
- perform routine maintenance and repairs on HGVs, trailers, vans, and pool cars
- diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues
- conduct safety inspections and ensure vehicles comply with regulations
- keep accurate maintenance records
- assist with the training and guidance of our apprentice mechanic
- collaborate with our existing team of experienced HGV mechanics
