- full-time
Responsibility
- responsible for the safe, efficient and economic driving of our vehicles
- extremely customer focused and comfortable speaking to new people acting as the face of our online kitchen company
- ensuring loads arrive on time and in good condition
- ensuring good communication - Informing transport management of any delays, accidents, breakdowns or discrepancies
- maintaining a clean and tidy vehicle and reporting damages made by yourself or other drivers
- responsible for safety and legal compliance of your vehicle, e.g. checks to ensure weight and load distribution complies with axle and gross weight guidance and that your loads are secure
- flexibility to working hours and overtime as this job will require overnight stays, weekend work and will require you to varied hours
- you will be assigned a drivers mate that will also stay in the cab with you and help unloading items off the van. First night is required to sleep in the cab, any following nights out you have a hotel room paid for by the company
