Responsibility
- HR Administration
- providing daily support to the ERBP and Senior HRBP
- supporting and coaching Managers with HR related ER cases

- develop effective relationships with multidisciplinary management teams across the business
- assist Managers in the management of attendance, including sickness absence reviews, late reports and unauthorised absences
- recruitment coordination
- dealing with suspension and appeal motions
- handle day to day employee queries and act as the first point of contact for the team
- managing absent management
- be responsible for providing an excellent HR service in a generalist capacity, using best practice approaches
- monitoring absence and case work for long term sick colleagues, attending welfare meetings and arranging occupational health referrals when required
- onboarding / offboarding
- building relationships and with Managers and stakeholders
- raising offer letters and contracts of employment, reference requests etc
- return to work meetings
- take lead on all recruitment activities including advertising, liaising with recruitment agencies, shortlisting, arranging interviews and attend interviews where required
- provide assistance and support to managers in the preparation of letters reports or other documentation including minutes of meetings
- dealing with general HR enquiries; maternity leave, flexi working requests etc
- support development and lead on our wellbeing programme
- managing onsite HR queries reactively
- provide administrative support for employee life cycle processes, including new starters, legal right to work checks, leavers, and contract changes
- managing the starter and leaver processes
- ER related casework
- pension and private healthcare administration
- support business change and work to develop processess and procedures
- taking charge of the suspension and appeal motions
- support recruitment process, leading onboarding activities and local inductions
- supporting the Senior HRBP
- ensure legal requirements are always achieved
- supporting the HR Manager with any ad hoc HR project work
- be first point of contact for employee relations issues, escalating to relevant HR Business Partner where necessary
- improve our People systems, reporting and analytics, and report on monthly KPI’s
- getting involved in other HR projects were required
- provide data driven insights to guide decision making and offer proactive and progressive HR solutions
- reporting on and chasing outstanding sickness meetings
- deal with a large, complex and varied workload including the ability to plan and prioritise to ensure deadlines are met
- employee relations support, first line for queries around processes and policies
- provide advice and support to managers on a wide range of Employee Relations matters; including investigations, disciplinaries, grievances, performance management, attendance management, and flexible working requests
- provide coaching, advice and guidance to managers, to develop our manager capability and upskilling in Employee Relation topics
Requirements
- excellent communication skills
- CIPD level 5
- strong HR advisor with some experience of dealing with a wide variety of employee issues

- A minimum of 3 years’ experience as an HR Advisor within a fast-paced global organisation

- knowledge of the HRIS system Workday would be desirable
- A self-starter with the ability to proactively manage their own workload
- A “can-do” attitude, a thirst for knowledge and the ability to communicate effectively within the team
- good knowledge of employment legislation and interest in current trends in people management
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a HR Advisor level role
- CIPD Level 3 or above
- excellent attention to detail

- ability to travel across offices
- ability to cope well under pressure and respond positively to challenges
- strong communication skills
- CIPD is preferable
- experience of contributing to HR project activities including HRIS projects would be advantageous
