- we're looking for two Counter Fraud Home Claims Handlers to join our Home Counter Fraud Department on a full time basis
- as a Commercial Motor claims handler you will take ownership of managing your own dedicated broker/client portfolio
- manage new claim registration by capturing accurate and relevant data for the investigation and/or settlement of claims
- validating requests for legal expenses cover and agreeing appropriate freedom of choice in line with business rules and claims authorisation matrix
- assessing and processing legal expenses claims enquiries and acting as the first point of contact for new and existing customers
- settling claims in a cost effective matter
- what you'll be doing
- we are offering one 9 month secondment and one permanent position
- we now have an exciting opportunity to join the insurance team in Liverpool
- identifying any potential elements of Fraud
- authorising repudiation or rejection of claim in line with business rules and claims authorisation matrix
- speaking with our customers about their new claim, specifically in relation to legal representation
- maintaining your claims portfolio to meet or exceed agreed SLA’s and caseload /FTE targets
- this role offers - two days a week at our Leeds office, and the rest from home
- this means we’re dealing with a huge range of issues, complexity, and often very challenging customer vulnerability and behaviours

- you will be reporting into our Counter Fraud Team Leader
- validate policy cover to verify indemnity status
- working with our customers, handling their problems, and achieving the right outcome for every customer in a timely and professional way
- helping customers understand the next steps in their legal claim journey and relaying meaningful regulatory notices, and providing decisions in writing
- regularly updating customers and others involved in process
- this roles reports into the Commercial Motor Claims Team Leader
- our salary package starts from £20,300
- maximise cost control through negotiating the optimum claim settlement
- authorising repudiation or rejection of claim in line with business rule
- appointing legal representatives to act for our customers and collaborating closely with our preferred law firms
- keeping on top of engagement with our suppliers

- your caseload will consist of injury, TPPD and defective workmanship claims
- undertaking Quality Assurance review activity and provide feedback for performance improvement and reward purposes

- identify and refer litigated cases to our dedicated panel of solicitors
- this is an exciting opportunity to join our Commercial Liability Claims team as a Commercial Liability Claims Handler at our Manchester office on a full time, permanent basis
- the purpose of the Legal Expenses Claims department Is to enable our customers to get access to justice, for them to recover compensation or another kind of legal remedy from the person who has wronged them, and for them to do this without fear of paying hefty legal bills

Requirements
- knowledge of insurance principles and practice
- A passion for delivering excellent customer experience
- fast Track RTA claims handling experience with Personal injury, within an insurance company or law firm environment

- excellent customer service skills
- experience in handling household property claims
- you will have to have previous motor claims experience
- in-depth Knowledge of DR&R and Building / content scoping
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment, whilst maintaining high attention to detail
- motor Claims experience is essential
- excellent working knowledge of the MOJ Pre Action Protocol and Civil Procedure Rules for Personal Injury Claims
- OR Law degree, Cilex or similar qualification
- previous experience of dealing with customers by telephone would be desirable
- knowledge and understanding of Subsidence insurance claims
- you will be customer focused and able to build strong working relationships with key stakeholders - both internally and externally
- excellent telephone manner and a passion for customer service
- high attention to detail

- ability and flexibility to adapt easy with fast-changing priorities
