Responsibility
perform grooming services including bathing, brushing, clipping, and styling of various breeds of dogs and cats
assess the health and condition of pets prior to grooming, identifying any potential issues that may require veterinary attention
provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with pet owners regarding their pet's grooming needs and aftercare
maintain cleanliness in the grooming area, ensuring all tools and equipment are sanitised and in good working order
handle pets safely and compassionately, ensuring their comfort throughout the grooming process
lift and carry pets as needed, ensuring their safety during transport to and from the grooming area
stay updated on grooming techniques, trends, and best practices to enhance skills and service quality
Requirements
previous experience in veterinary care or animal handling is highly desirable
strong background in animal care with a genuine love for pets
excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with pet owners
capability to perform heavy lifting when handling larger breeds or multiple pets
attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety
