Responsibility

  • process hospitality, conference and events bookings using our in-house CRM system
  • liaise with the operations team to make sure the events run smoothly by providing accurate information
  • prepare all operational event plans
  • set up and deliver small internal events and assist in the delivery of Key stakeholder events
  • host customer visits and convert customer enquiries into bookings to develop future and repeat business
  • host events and provide official welcome on behalf of the Derbyshire CCC when appropriate
  • assist with general office admin as required providing administrative support for matchday and concert hospitality plus event related administration
  • provide details event plans liaising with clients and sales to ensure the information is detailed accurate and conducive to delivering excellent events

Requirements

  • working knowledge of the events industry highly desirable

Responsibility

  • oversee the club’s incoming and outgoing mailing processes
  • welcoming, signing in and briefing site visitors on Ground policies to ensure an outstanding first experience on arrival at the Incora County Ground

  • the role has a solid functional reporting line into the Chief Financial Officer and will manage two direct reports, our Finance Assistants
  • liaise and work closely with other Managers and departments; particularly cricket and academy, commercial, operational and in-house conference and events teams
  • the role is a broad one and you will be required to get involved in day-to-day transactional work as well as more strategic projects

Requirements

  • qualified Accountant or have an equivalent qualification
  • good amount of experience in a finance/accounting environment, either in industry or practice
  • excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • understanding of good internal financial control systems
  • experience of Sage is preferrable
  • A strong attention to detail
  • ability to manage and manipulate large volumes of data
  • proactive in looking for opportunities to drive improvements

head of finance

Responsibility

  • leading on all aspects of financial accounting, controls and compliances
  • review and improve finance processes to enhance efficiency and bring in required automation
  • provide clear and timely financial insight to department heads and budget holders
  • own the management account process and reporting cycles
  • get involved in both strategic financial planning and day-to-day transactional finance
  • liaise across with Club with our cricket, academy, commercial, operational and events teams
  • act as liaison for auditors and external stakeholders
  • work with the executive team to ensure the smooth running of the Finance and Payroll Department

Requirements
