DEPOP is looking for employees for positions:
systems administrator
Responsibility
- leads the Systems Administration team to provide continual network performance, including stability testing, firmware upgrades, monitoring, and general troubleshooting
- providing leadership & mentoring to Junior Systems Administrator within the SysAd function
- involved in key decision-making for Depop IT & forms IT Leadership at Depop
- provide 3rd line support for the business
- takes ownership of endpoints at Depop, providing continuous improvement over endpoint security & management
- working predominantly on IT projects - cross-company migration work, Okta, office move/expansion, on-prem & cloud-based technologies, macOS continuous improvement
- play a key role in building and defining IT’s cloud infrastructure for tooling
- identification & automation of time-consuming processes for the business and IT team
Requirements
- experience with Okta
- adopts a team-first approach but must be able to work autonomously & self-manage projects
- experience with mentoring junior team members with a view to progressing their skills & knowledge at all times
- experience working cross-functionally with various teams on vendor due diligence
- have a basic understanding & practical usage of at least one project management methodology
- good understanding of at least one scripting language & the ability to work with APIs
- knowledge of Disaster Recovery processes
- strong experience administering Google Workspace with GAM familiarity being beneficial
