Responsibility
- day to day management of the Relay Group finance team
- provide timely, accurate financial information to the Relay Board, operational management and the Denholm Energy Services Group finance function
- deliver monthly management accounts with detailed commentary and analysis in line with the Group reporting timetable
- interrogation of contract margin variances and ensure accurate WIP & project costs accruals and prepayments
- deliver quarterly forecast and annual budgets with detailed commentary and analysis in line with the Group reporting timetable
- credit Control
- fortnightly cash forecasts and managing the Group’s cashflow
- year end audit planning / file preparation and management of the Group’s external audit process
Requirements
- qualified CA, ACCA or CIMA
- proven experience in a senior finance role supporting operational management and managing a team
- group and team leadership skills
- experience with different financial systems
- highly organised & efficient
- proactive, ability to work independently and as part of a team
- evidence of excellent planning and organizational skills
- demonstrate the ability to work meticulously and accurately
