working directly and closely with the QEHS Manager based in Burton-upon-Trent, the Quality Engineer will need to have a passion for quality, safety and environment with a drive to meet and exceed company goals
the role will require an energetic, hands-on individual who can deal with the day to day pressure of manufacturing requirements and equally have the ability to engage, motivate & develop the wider workforce; instilling the need to be a quality data driven organisation with a focus on continuous improvement where customers come first
support the QEHS Manager is managing and maintaining the current IMS, producing procedures and process flows, and any required improvements
assisting the QEHS Manager on basic safety duties such as completing risk assessments and site audits where required
improving visual management across the manufacturing areas on Quality and Safety aspects

CIPS level 5 or higher
previous manufacturing experience from Polymer industry or similar
technical /engineering qualifications / background and/or the ability to read technical drawing
previous experience of international purchasing at a strategic level
able to commute regularly between 2 sites and internationally
keen eye for detail and accuracy
