- help deliver the Sweet options efficiently with attention to quality, quantity, freshness, presentation
- check the quality of food ingredients
- co-ordinate end to end kitchen operations during service and prep time
- ensure great presentation by dressing dishes before they are served
- maintain kitchen's cleanliness and hygiene as per UK standards
- develop and maintain sweet menus that reflect our restaurant's focus on traditional South Indian cuisine, using fresh and locally sourced ingredients whenever possible
Requirements
- proven experience as a Head Chef or similar role in a high-volume restaurant or hospitality establishment
- extensive knowledge of culinary techniques, flavour profiles, and food safety regulations
- strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- excellent organizational and time management abilities
- ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
