Responsibility

- distribute clean and sterile glassware within the laboratory
- attend and comply with any planned in house training or on the job training
- troubleshoot and resolve issues related to control systems and automation equipment
- maintain inventory of glassware and glass washing supplies, order and replace items as needed
- capable and willing to train others in the team
- ensure compliance with regulatory requirements including cGMP and safety standards
- assist with the cleaning and general housekeeping of the laboratories as directed, including putting away cleaned glassware and other items
- to ensure the efficient and safe use of plant and equipment
- collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process optimization and automation
- assist with ordering laboratory supplies such as chemical reagents, columns and solvents
- working collaboratively with Computerised System Validation team and project teams to ensure that the validation is delivered on time and compliantly

- clean laboratory glassware and other items to the high standard required for scientific work
- maintain the highest standards of housekeeping, cleanliness and personal hygiene within the department
- keep up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in automation technology and industry regulations
- empty specialist waste bins and containers and remove to appropriate processing point
- able to find solutions and complete tasks in a timely manner
- sharing knowledge, as the site subject matter expert, with colleagues across all functions to improve understanding, capabilities and performance
- comply with GMP, GLP and Health and Safety standards at all times
- A competent level of IT skill is essential
- to identify any issues and attempt to resolve these and escalating if it cannot be resolved
- participate in design and commissioning of new production facilities and equipment
- preparation and dispatch of samples to external laboratories
- to support Operational Excellence incentives to drive and improve efficiency
- ensure all program data is stored and accessible only by authorised individuals in accordance with Computer system validation requirements
- the candidate should have level 3 or relevant A level qualification
- to keep strictly to Dispensing Records as laid down in the documentation and raise any issues or errors with the Senior Dispensing Technician or Supervisors
- create and maintain the database of “good program settings” to revert to in case of catastrophic machine failure for all assets
