Responsibility

  • we are looking to recruit a Section Leader to join our Bugle site working in our Process department
  • the site is currently award winning, nationally, in both bacon and gammon production
  • we process pork legs to be sold to major UK retailers, wholesalers, and restaurants
  • we value dedication, and in return invest in the development of employees
  • the processing department is responsible for the curing, cooking, and smoking of our products
  • there are also pressing, netting and vacuum sealing functions
  • all of these processes run over several areas and up to 12 lines at peak production times
  • at Danish Crown Bugle, we are proud to be a centre of excellence for the butchery and processing of pork, curing of bacon and the production of gammon

Requirements

  • experience of leading or supervising teams with effective communication
  • ability to prioritise workload effectively
  • ability to work under pressure and deliver to deadlines
  • attention to detail and accuracy with paperwork and tasks
  • experience and knowledge of factory and the meat industry is desirable though not essential
