Responsibility
- lead the Carbon and sustainability Team, ensuring compliance with relevant standards
- identify, define and integrate interfaces across the railway system on live projects
- provide strategic advice and knowledge associated with Carbon and sustainability team for rail engineers

- provide strong leadership for carbon baseline and reduction using verification and validation of all stages of GRIP/PACE lifecycle
- produce and deliver technical papers and seminars
- train, mentor and develop Carbon and sustainability staff
- work on multi-disciplinary rail projects
- understand, interpret and communicate technical requirements
- lead the Carbon and sustainability Team, ensuring compliance with relevant Rail British and European standards
Requirements
- bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field BSc, BEng, or MSc in Engineering
- knowledge of legislation and policy influencing carbon and climate change including PAS 2080 and 2060
- chartered Engineer; Fellow of relevant Institution
