Requirements

to demonstrate a range of work procedures and practices base level of theoretical knowledge
understanding of need for confidentiality; empathy and sensitivity
basic wound management
experience of working in a community care setting including provision of personal care
appropriate Mental Health related NVQ level 2
basic risk assessments and record keeping
will work towards the appropriate mental health related NVQ level 3 once in post or equivalent experience
completion of or Working towards Care Certificate
