Requirements
- to demonstrate a range of work procedures and practices base level of theoretical knowledge
- understanding of need for confidentiality; empathy and sensitivity
- basic wound management
- experience of working in a community care setting including provision of personal care
- appropriate Mental Health related NVQ level 2
- basic risk assessments and record keeping
- will work towards the appropriate mental health related NVQ level 3 once in post or equivalent experience
- completion of or Working towards Care Certificate
