Requirements
- broad commercial experience in AWS services, Linux, networking, infrastructure as code, configuration as code, and managing distributed systems
- development experience in at least one modern high level programming language
- experience with service and micro-service based distributed architectures and building out secure infrastructure
- an eye for both high level infrastructural/architectural optimisation opportunities and low level code and data level ones
- an ability to methodically tackle problems with a large number of unknowns
- an eye for detail from infrastructural to the code level
- this isn't a list of hard requirements that must all be met, but an indication of skills and experiences we see as directly applicable to the role
- expertise in simplifying and optimising database architecture and queries
