- confident in owning overall architecture and articulating the case for change
- proven track record in providing technical leadership in one of the following: .NET, and Umbraco
- an understanding of non-functional requirements and how each should be considered and influence the detail of a technical solution

- monitor and keep abreast of industry best practices, standards and methods with regard to development technologies and wider integrations
- undertake research into external dependencies to validate their suitability as part of a solution
