- FAMILY Law Paralegal/ Trainee Solicitor
- 1x Full- time position
- candidates will have a strong academic background and have either completed their LPC or will be due to complete it shortly

- responsible for all aspects of Family Law work including providing technical expertise and guidance to other team members

- ability to manage and supervise Trainee Solicitors and paralegals to manage appropriate caseload types and complexities
- divorce and Clean Break
- ongoing day-to-day case management
- practice either Family Law, Criminal Law, Employment or Litigation
- assisting with delivery of appropriate training and development in the department
- child Arrangement Orders
- completing Case Assessments
- negotiate with clients
- TOLATA Applications
- drafting of Court Applications, Orders and documentation
- inform clients of their legal rights and options
- non-Molestation & Occupation Orders
- we are currently looking to recruit a LPC graduate/ LPC student to commence work as soon as possible and with a view to commence a Training Contract
- trial Bundle preparation
- deal with clients' complaints
- financial Orders
- experience in Court Hearing advocacy is an advantage
- court Hearing advocacy
- undertake a compliance management role
- job will involve assisting in a wide range of private Family law cases including but not limited to Divorce, Financial Orders, Child arrangements, Non-molestation, Occupation Order
- the firm is based in central Milton Keynes and apart from family law specialises in Immigration, civil and criminal litigation so any past experience in these areas of law would be very helpful

- you will be a Qualified Solicitor with experience across the remit of family matters
- up-to-date knowledge and skills in compliance with Continuing Professional Development and internal training expectations

- UK family law matters: 2 years
- dealing with UK FAMILY law matters as paralegal.: 2 years
- UK Family law: 1 year
- PQE: 3 years
- UK FAMILY law: 1 year
- paralegal experience in FAMILY law-: 1 year
- professional with a pro-active approach; excellent client care skills and ability to deal with vulnerable client matters in a sensitive manner and resolve complicated practicalities involved in family law issues
