A minimum of 1 year of experience in a web design/development role or relevant internship experience
basic proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
experience with design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite or Figma is advantageous
basic knowledge of web performance optimisation and SEO best practices
strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment
detail-oriented with a proactive approach to troubleshooting and resolving issues
enthusiasm and passion – actively keeping at the forefront of current and emerging technologies and best practices
familiarity with content management systems like WordPress or similar. Elementor is our chosen web-builder, however, we also have clients that use WP Bakery, Oxygen and Breakdance too. Experience in these would be advantageous
Responsibility
website Maintenance: Assist in the ongoing maintenance of client websites, including updates to content, design, and functionality
website Design: Support senior designers in creating visually appealing, user-friendly web layouts and interfaces
website development: Assist with website builds and front-end development tasks ensuring websites are responsive and cross-browser compatible
bug Fixes and Troubleshooting: Help identify and resolve website issues related to performance, functionality, and user experience
collaboration: Work closely with senior developers and designers to support larger web development projects, following best practices and project timelines
testing and Quality Assurance: Assist in testing websites across different devices and browsers to ensure consistent functionality and design
