Responsibility

  • servicing, calibrating and repairing electronic gas detection equipment to the relevant standards
  • support other team members on jobs that require multiple engineers
  • provide customer ‘user training’ when required – once experienced
  • work closely with the Service Admin team making sure jobs are scheduled efficiently and meeting customers’ requirements
  • ensure service reports are completed accurately and submit them for processing on time

Requirements

  • previous Field Service Engineering experience would be an advantage, but not necessary
  • experience in electronic equipment service, troubleshoot/repair
  • commissioning and/or installation experience desirable
  • excellent customer communication skills in both writing and verbal
  • full UK driving license essential
  • confined Space, IPAF and Safety Passport is preferable, but full training provided
  • the role can be physically demanding when using access equipment and when occasionally accessing confined spaces
