Responsibility
installation of Cat5/Cat6 cabling including termination and testing
containment installation such as trunking and conduit as required
data cabinet patching
data switch racking
installation of interactive video screens in classroom environments
installation of Video Conference room hardware
install complementary equipment such as wireless access points, switches, and routers
Education
GCSE or equivalent
3 years of structured cabling experience
1 year of experience in the telecommunications industry
Requirements
ECS/CSCS is required
IPAF is preferable but not essential and training can be provided
clear Communication Skills: Effective verbal and written communication abilities are essential to interact with team members, clients, and suppliers
attention to Detail: Being meticulous in your work ensures that orders, paperwork, and project details are accurate and error-free
analytical Skills: Strong analytical capabilities will help you assess project requirements and manage resources effectively
interpersonal Skills: You should have tact and diplomacy in dealing with colleagues and clients to maintain a positive working environment
A full UK driving licence is essential as this role requires travelling to and from customer sites across the south of the UK
