health and safety aware, not just following guidelines but taking initiative to reduce chance of injury
the ability to closely follow your managers/supervisors instructions with minimal supervision
able to work to tight deadlines
physically fit and comfortable lifting up to 25KG
your own mode of transport is not essential but beneficial - you must be able to start work at 6 am at a location inaccessible by public transport
ideally 1 + Years experience in a Construction or Labouring role
Responsibility
general labouring responsibilities will also be required, and with training will lead to more skilled roles
assisting in the Hollowcore factory production -covering the curing beds to heat the concrete, removing the covers when complete, ensure the curing beds stay free of contaminates by sweeping loose concrete dust and mopping up water excreted during the curing process
once the concrete bed has been cut into slabs assist with unloading from the curing beds onto the arctic lorries to be stored
