Responsibility

  • to load and unload vehicles utilising correct manual handling techniques and lifting aids where appropriate
  • check and sign paperwork from suppliers
  • using a company vehicle, run out orders to customers and provide assistance, by way of rounds cover, when required
  • to be responsible for the housekeeping of the fridges including scheduled cleaning regimes. Monitor temperature controls
  • dispose of waste milk and products in an approved and safe manner
  • maintain and clean buildings, portacabin and yard on the Trafford Park site

  • when required, test the raw milk before collection for antibiotics
  • to ensure the raw milk is transferred from the tanker to the silos at the Dairy adhering to safety procedures
  • perform “Clean in Progress” on tanker on a daily basis
  • to be responsible for the safe loading and storage of raw milk on your vehicle and to comply with vehicle weight restrictions
  • to operate your vehicle in a safe manner with due regard to road conditions and road traffic regulations/speed limits so as not to endanger other road users or pedestrians
