- ensure you are aware of all fire exits in all areas you may work and be sure to understand the emergency evacuation procedure and nominated fire marshals
- to ensure all materials are collected/delivered to your line in good time in order to minimize downtime
- paperwork: Completion of cook and cool and other process records to monitor product quality and safety and to allow for traceability
- health and Safety: Maintaining a safe working environment for yourself and others and following safe working practices
- conduct Safety and quality checks across a number of lines
- ensure CCP checks are completed and are the importance of a CCP within the manufacturing process is recognised by full Line
- complete an effective handover to next shift
- any other reasonable request
- any other reasonable request as instructed by your line manager
- comply with all hygiene standards
- check with the Line Leader that the feedstock is the correct material for the product to be used
- any other activities or duties requested by your line manager that are aligned with this level of position
- ensure Line Leader and Area leader are aware of any quality issues
- follow all Standard Operating procedures
- to ensure the achievement of the daily production plan and communicate shortfalls and problems to the relevant person in a timely manner
- failures should be escalated to the Line Leader and Area leader to decide on action required such as stopping the line
Requirements
- previous manufacturing experience preferred
- successful completion or willing to undertake training in L2 Food Safety and L2 Health and Safety Principles
- food hygiene / health and safety principles certification
