Responsibility
- prepare monthly management accounts with commentary for presentation to the board
- manage a small team with responsibilities for purchase ledger, and credit control
- balance sheet reconciliation
- bank reconciliation
- we're looking for a pro-active, resourceful person to head our Accounts Department, to work with external accountants and existing team members across our group of branches
- overseeing bookkeeping
- this position requires excellent interpersonal skills in addition to the expected bookkeeping skill set. You will be an adept communicator who can engage with all levels of co-workers, as well as our suppliers and key customers
- cashflow modelling and forecasting
Requirements
- strong accounting & bookkeeping experience
- would suit CIMA
- excellent presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal
- experience with using Sage 200c or ERP software would be preferable
- demonstrate clear and concise verbal and written skills
- strong Organisational & I.T. skills
- proactive with the ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines
- knowledgeable of GDPR and data security
