Responsibility

  • there will be dedicated patient and administration/clinic management time
  • there may be the option to increase hours as the service grows
  • we can be completely flexible in terms of type of contract, working days and hours but would like a minimum of 2 days per week
  • the Aesthetic Clinic is based within our Consultant-led CQC accredited dermatology and plastic surgery centre. Our current opening hours are 8.30 to 17.30 Monday to Friday and the occasional Saturday 08.30-17.00. Evening clinics would be considered
  • ensuring patients are provided with all necessary information, documentation and decision time prior to any treatment
  • adhere to all practice policies
  • maintain medical records in accordance with policy and procedures

Requirements

  • arranging clinician participation in MDT meetings and ensuring all information required is provided in advance
  • processing and sending of documentation as per practice policies and procedures
  • medical experience and understanding of relevant terminology, ideally with experience in dermatology/skin cancer surgeries
  • ensure that laboratory results and other records are filed and acted upon accurately
  • providing the essential link between clinicians and patients to ensure they are treated promptly and any follow up actions are processed/managed efficiently
  • typing of clinic, post-operative and histopathology result letters, discharge summaries and admin letters from tapes or dictation or written copy as required with high level of accuracy
  • liaise with our NHS contract leads and support with our required reporting processes
