Our team is expanding in Coatbridge we're on the lookout for two proactive, chatty and cheery individuals with a creative flare to join them as Support Practitioners. We have up to 36 hour contracts available. The Role You will be joining our friendly and fun team who supports a young man with learning disabilities to maintain his independence in his own home and achieve his goals. LC is looking for someone who enjoys being is active, has an upbeat personality and will go on an adventure with him. There is never a dull moment here as LC enjoys spending his time keeping fit at the gym, playing and watching football along with catching up with friends and much more. As a Support Practitioner, you'll play an important part in our team, ensuring that we provide the best care and support possible. The main purpose of your role will be to support individuals who have a disability and/or additional support needs with all aspects of their daily living, e.g. shopping, finances, cooking, medication, household tasks and personal care. For this vacancy we will need you to hold a full UK, manual driving licence and be happy to go swimming. All we need you to bring is; A full UK manual driving licence A caring and compassionate attitude Good communication skills A positive approach to learning Confidence in the use of computers The ability to cook Shift Patterns We provide tailored support 7 days a week
Support Practitioner - Male / Driver Coatbridge

We have our own Training Academy that'll give you all the skills you'll need. We'll even fund your SVQ (SCQF level 6/7) qualification and your yearly SSSC registration fee! The Role Based within our busy Community Support branch in North Lanarkshire, our teams provide support to a small network of individuals living in Coatbridge and Bellshill with different health and support needs. As a Support Practitioner, you will provide support with all aspects of daily living, including personal care, meal preparation and cooking, assisting with medication and other domestic tasks, including managing personal finances. You’ll also help the people we support to build upon their independent living skills, supporting them to maintain their home, supporting them to access varied activities in the community. All of the individuals are very active and love to get out and about, so you’ll also find yourself being involved in activities like going for walks, swimming, baking and arts & crafts. For this role it is essential that you hold a full UK driving licence and be comfortable driving the people we support's mobility cars. Support Practitioner - driver Irvine
We're expanding in Irvine and on the lookout for caring and enthusiastic individuals who shares our values to join our team as Support Practitioners! If you have great communication skills and a zest for life then this could be the role for you! You don't need experience in care as a Support Worker to start your career with us, we recruit on values and transferrable skills. We'll pay you for your training and give you all the practical skills that you'll need. We'll even fund your SVQ qualification too! The Role You will be joining our dynamic and friendly team providing person centred support across our two services in Irvine. The people we support enjoy getting out and exploring new places in their cars. One of the gentlemen we support goes swimming every week so we would need you to be comfortable getting into the pool. We'll be looking to you to take an active interest in their hobbies and support them with inclusion in their local community. As a Support Practitioner, you will support with day to day personal needs including meal planning, cooking, support to appointments, personal care and medication. We'll need you to be flexible in your approach and be able to follow guidelines. This is a lone working position. For this role it is essential you hold a full, UK driving licence as the person we support has their own mobility car. To be a great Support Practitioner we will need you have the following qualities; Great communication skills. Can think outside the box. Caring attitude and approach. Positive approach to learning.
