Responsibility

  • can be flexible with a start time being between 8am - 9am
  • collate, record and update company systems and spreadsheets accurately and in accordance with policies, procedures and compliance requirements
  • we are looking for someone to join our brilliant and busy MI Team
  • prepare reports for internal and external audiences on regular and ad hoc basis
  • acquiring data from primary and secondary data sources in order to maintain accurate databases
  • manipulate data into predefined formats and schemas
  • provide timely responses to correspondence from brokers & suppliers, actively seeking information from the required sources and monitoring progress
  • working hrs: 37.5hrs per week working Monday to Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm

Responsibility

  • deal with all levels of expressions of dissatisfaction, recognising when a matter becomes and FCA reportable complaint
  • handle verbal and written complaints in line with FCA requirements
  • making fair and reasoned judgements about complaint outcomes in a timely manner and in line with TCF principles
  • ensure outcomes are professional, fair and in line with current policies, procedures, regulatory obligations and Financial Ombudsman Services decisions
  • ensure our complaints approach recognises vulnerable customers and adapt the approach as required
  • consider previous redress decisions and consequence for complainant prior to offering redress and arrange compensation in-line with procedures
  • liaise with suppliers regarding any issues with service provision
  • supporting the process of delivering feedback to business areas on their complaints handling practices

Responsibility

  • run daily, weekly and monthly reports for internal teams and external partners. Maintaining Excel formulas and/or Power Query steps as necessary
  • produce ad-hoc analysis to support business decisions
  • combine data from multiple sources using Power Query
  • provide timely responses to data requests, actively seeking information from the required sources and managing customer expectations
  • general administrative tasks as and when required
  • maintain compliance with requirements of the firms own procedures, the Financial Services and FCA regulations
  • promote and uphold our commitment to Treating Customers Fairly
  • cleanse insurance claims data from our internal SQL database and external data sources to ensure accurate reporting and compliance with data protection policies

Requirements

  • intermediate knowledge of Excel, including xlookups, conditional formatting and pivot tables / charts
  • basic knowledge and understanding of Power Query and SQL
