Responsibility
- hands on participation in manufacturing processes to aid the achievement of weekly production targets
- supervise and oversee the daily operations of the production floor, ensuring adherence to production schedules, safety guidelines, and quality standards
- monitor and optimise production processes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing effective strategies to enhance efficiency and productivity
- conduct regular inspections to ensure proper usage of TIG and MIG welding techniques, guaranteeing high-quality welds and compliance with industry standards
- train and develop production staff, conducting performance evaluations and providing constructive feedback to enhance individual and team performance
- maintain accurate production records, including daily production reports, inventory levels, and any relevant documentation required for quality control purposes
- provide leadership and guidance to a team of production workers, motivating them to achieve production targets and maintain a high level of quality
- collaborate with the quality control team to develop and implement quality assurance procedures, ensuring that all products meet or exceed customer expectations
Requirements
- familiarity with health and safety regulations in a manufacturing setting
