  • the role will involve interaction with customer representatives, suppliers and contractors, therefore excellent communication skills is essential
  • essential Criteria
  • colloide continues to expand our portfolio of district heating projects, and as a result we are looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer – Energy to support the design, installation, commissioning and tendering of the associated building services
  • technical oversight of the work of a small number of design engineers
  • minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role
  • this role will involve writing specifications; reviewing designs; reviewing technical submissions; checking installation against design; witnessing network commissioning; acceptance testing post commissioning; producing models and reports for presentation back to clients
  • the use of CAD packages in the creation of engineering drawings
  • working towards CEng Chartered Engineer status
