Working hours

Responsibility

  • to support client led projects with Admin support, either through the CRM or hard files
  • to be the welcoming first point of contact for service users, professionals and visitors entering the youth enquiry service
  • to ensure the smooth running of Front of house
  • to provide accurate and useful information to service users and professionals including signposting
  • to extract reports from the CRM when needed
  • to provide administration support for all the team as and when required
  • to report to CEO and Fundraising and Community engagement Co-Ordinator
  • to work with the team to create, produce and promote good news stories throughout our multi-level digital media to encourage new and consistent engagement

Responsibility

  • to provide this client group with the information and support to make considered choices relevant to their situation
  • to work closely with Midwifery Team
  • develop, plan and deliver programmes and activities within group settings, and completing relevant safety and funding paperwork
  • provide up to date information about signposting to sexual health services, including pathway to abortion
  • support young fathers and signpost where appropriate
  • occasional home visits
  • to complete reports and valuation of services as required by the CEO/Funding bodies
  • to Build and Develop the role where funding opportunities allow

Requirements

  • to have a flexible and an adaptable approach to work
  • A passion to supporting and helping young people
  • have experience in working with hard to reach young people
  • self driven and adaptable
  • excellent communication skills with the ability to quickly establish positive relationships and motivate them in group settings and activities
  • ability to manage your own workload and keep detailed case notes
  • understand safeguarding children and young people and how to maintain professional boundaries
  • to calmly deal with volatile situation should the need arise
