Responsibility

  • full line management responsibility for all Precision Technicians across the region to lead, motivate and develop a team of Technicians to provide a consistent quality service and encourage individual accountability for customer satisfaction
  • hygiene All personnel must wear protective clothing and disinfect between farms
  • to set up new farms that come on to our Precision service, ensuring that all herd data is transferred to PD+ and is accurate before the start date, liaise with the technician in that area to communicate start date, timings etc and to liaise with the Genetics Consultant to ensure all agreements are signed and cow and heifer numbers are accurate
  • to carry out quarterly performance reviews with the technicians to identify training needs and set objectives
  • take responsibility for all fertility data reporting and herd reports by updating and utilising PD+ to ensure accurate record keeping

area sales manager

Responsibility

  • support in the production of monthly information packs / reports for inclusion in the finance reporting pack
  • support in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts

Requirements

  • ensure the CBL Lab GxP on media preparation, processing of semen samples and the working area are observed and maintained
  • maintain the workflow, manage the tasks, and take care of the instruments, equipment and tools linked to the role
  • at all times fully comply with CBL H&S directives, SOPs and policies to allow good laboratory practice and full compliance with the Regulations and Industry Standards
  • operate autonomously though the different operations under his/her responsibility, respecting CBL lab SOPs, sexed production planning and CBL lab production standards
  • effective collaboration with the rest of the lab team sharing knowledge and supporting colleagues to ensure the department maximises production and meets the business aims
