baker
Responsibility
- bake daily cakes, scones, pastries, brownies, afternoon tea prep
- serve afternoon teas and other desserts on the menu
- greet customers as they arrive and provide them with menus
- take orders from customers and enter them into the POS system
- serve food and beverages to customers in a timely and efficient manner
- ensure that all tables are clean and properly set up before seating customers
- handle cash, credit card, and other forms of payment accurately
- complete cleaning duties as needed
Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in the catering or restaurant industry preferred but not required
- excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
- ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- must be able to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 25 pounds
- baking: 1 year
