  • heat Geek Mastery certification or similar is highly desirable
  • familiarity with MCS standards, UK building regulations, and health and safety requirements for renewable installations
  • experience conducting pre-installation surveys, including heat loss calculations, and translating findings into actionable designs
  • proficiency in design software and project management tools
  • excellent organisational, communication, and leadership skills
  • proven experience in designing, managing, commissioning, and servicing heat pump systems, with a solid understanding of system sizing, hydraulics, and energy efficiency
  • professional certifications such as PRINCE2, PMP, or equivalent are advantageous

Responsibility

  • pre-install Surveys: Conduct detailed pre-installation surveys, including heat loss calculations and site assessments, to inform system design and ensure optimal performance
  • electrical System Knowledge: Leverage electrical experience to support the integration of heat pumps, battery storage, and EV chargers
  • project Management: Lead the full lifecycle of renewable projects, from feasibility studies and design through to installation, commissioning, and maintenance
  • technical Standards: Ensure all designs, installations, and servicing comply with industry standards, regulatory requirements , and best practices
  • heat Pump Design: Create efficient and effective heat pump system designs, tailored to specific site requirements and client needs, with a focus on hydraulics and energy optimisation
  • stakeholder Engagement: Liaise with clients, contractors, and suppliers to ensure clear communication and successful project delivery
