  • self-starting and highly motivated
  • capable of working autonomously and as part of a team

Responsibility

  • diligently monitoring outstanding balances and proactively contacting customers through phone calls and emails to ensure prompt payments
  • conducting professional negotiations with customers to establish payment arrangements
  • providing exceptional customer service by promptly addressing inquiries and updating invoices accurately
  • conducting thorough reviews of client accounts and escalating critical matters to Account Managers and the Board
  • assisting with the processing of new customer accounts and evaluating credit suitability
  • preparing comprehensive Management Information Reports on Aged Debt
  • maintaining accurate records by inputting and updating data in Sage 200 and Credit Manager
  • assisting the accounts team to support various ad-hoc accounting functions

Requirements

  • excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with clients and colleagues
  • strong negotiation abilities and the capacity to handle challenging situations professionally
  • A collaborative mindset with the ability to work well within a team and independently
  • analytical skills and keen attention to detail to ensure accuracy in financial processes
  • prior experience with Sage and Credit Manager would be beneficial but is not essential
  • sage or Credit Manager: 1 year
  • credit Control: 1 year
