Responsibility
- the purpose of the role will be to provide support to the Technical Manager in delivering the company’s product development
- formulating new and existing products for the organisations household care division
- assist in managing technical projects such as new product development, raw material dual sourcing, and process improvement following company's validation process
- ascertain whether formulated products are tested, analytical methods are created, scale-up correctly and perform necessary processing improvements
- attend manufacturing trials in operations, documenting and communicating observations to the team
- transfer products from development into large scale production
- generate raw material specifications
- evaluate trial materials through rigorous testing activities to determine their suitability and effectiveness
Requirements
- educated to Degree Level
- qualification in Chemistry or related subject
- experience of > 5 years working in an industrial environment preferred
- experience working in an R&D environment within the FMCG, consumer goods, household and laundry care sectors
- knowledge of plastic processing would be beneficial
- ability to present clearly non-scientists
- be aware of and comply with Health and Safety legislation and company requirements relevant to your role
- educated to HNC standard
