Responsibility
- the Client Account Lead/Manager is a key member of the CJCH Anti-Piracy and License Compliance management team
- the objective of the business is to work with software vendors on strategies that aim to protect their Intellectual Property Rights
- the position is based at the CJCH head office in Cardiff with some blended home working arrangements possible

- the position is based at the Cardiff head office
- evaluating and monitoring the achievement of target revenue in collaboration with the relevant client team and the internal leadership team
- providing management dashboards on the progress of actions and progress towards the target
- some local and international travel may be required from time to time
- leading, managing and/or supporting the investigation into infringement cases in accordance with the procedures and systems in place
- the Client Account Manager is a key member of the CJCH Anti-Piracy and License Compliance team which, through research, engagement, and enforcement activities, protects and strengthens the Intellectual Property rights of software vendors through the recovery of lost revenue due to unlicensed use of their products
- identifying, collating, evaluating, and analysing information from various sources
- in achieving the objective, the aims are to recover lost revenue from the unlicensed use and/or take enforcement action whether criminal or civil
- establishing clear objectives and success factors for the program, both with the client team and internally with the CJCH delivery team and introducing a proactive communication approach to manage stakeholders
- managing the compliance engagement process
- analysing the client opportunity and develop a solution delivery plan in terms of pipeline management, forecasting, and legal/operational support required to deliver that plan
- our License Compliance teams, led by their Client Account Manager, investigate cases involving unlicensed software usage, engage with identified infringers, and negotiate commercial and/or legally enforced settlements
- ensuring all information and evidence is collected and retained in an ethical and transparent manner
- ensuring all information and evidence is disseminated in accordance with DPA 2018 & GDPR principles
- the position holder will have responsibility for managing service delivery, processes, and activities outlined below as relevant to the specific client’s License Compliance program
- provide input into tactical and strategic assessments and attend client and senior management meetings when required
- ensuring that the appropriate processes are followed with particular attention to the case assessment and relevant and appropriate engagement strategy in accordance with the individual client’s License Compliance program
- in accordance with the individual client’s License Compliance program, where there is responsibility for managing a team, provide the necessary support and supervision of its members in processing cases and take the lead for its performance
- providing input into tactical and strategic assessments and attend client and senior management meetings when required
- work in a collaborative way with the client and other relevant parties to ensure that the needs of the client are met
- monitor and track the progress of cases and respond and/or take effective action
Requirements
- educated to degree level or equivalent or equivalent experience
- management and Leadership – of self, client, and team
- advanced experience in data analytics and visualisation tools, i.e. Power Bi, is a plus but not required

- first and foremost, establishing and managing a positive and proactive relationship with the client leadership, license compliance, sales , and reseller teams
- experience in presenting evidence during customer negotiations / legal proceedings

- management and leadership experience, including resource planning and managing internal teams. This will include but not limited to managing client relationships and projects to successful implementation
- experience of database management and recording of information is essential for the role
- 3+ years account management / relationship management experience
- 2+ years account management / relationship management experience
- knowledge of setting and managing budgets sufficient to achieve the financial objectives of the organisation and its clients
- excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and proactively to their direct reports, peers, and leadership team to achieve common understanding and gain buy-in and commitment to the plan from all stakeholders
