Responsibility
- to understand and follow the College’s financial regulations and procedures
- to ensure there are sufficient and effective payroll processes in place and followed
- to advise managers, and HR and Finance team colleagues on a range of payroll and pension issues
- to lead, manage and develop the day to day running of the payroll function, including salary, pensions and expenses, starters, leavers, contract changes and tax code changes- with due regard to employment legislation and College policies and procedures
- to work with the HR/Payroll system provider, Zellis, to ensure the correct system is set up, then actively develop and improve the system utilisation and reporting
- in the position, you’ll be a vital member of the dedicated support team who work behind the scenes to ensure the smooth running of the College across our four campuses
