Responsibility

  • increasing the OEE KPI’s for the R&D area within the Slough plant
  • support the progression of new products liaising with the R&D mechanical engineers, operations, Quality departments
  • support the R&D test are areas with CI initiatives
  • “Hands On” support for R&D functions
  • support the NPD team with PFMEA's, risk assessments and control plans
  • prepare cost estimates to formulate schedules and coordinate and monitor assigned R&D/CapEx projects
  • support and communicate effectively with internal stakeholders within John Crane and external suppliers as appropriate to provide technical support/assistance
  • manage key projects from conception through to completion. Ensure key milestones are hit and project delivers objectives on time and within cost
