health & safety officer
Responsibility
- to carry out general maintenance including or example building and site repairs, fencing, painting, floor and wall tiling
- to attend and participate in staff meetings and attend all mandatory training when required
- to work in accordance with construction industry practices
- to attend any other training when a need has been identified
- to place and use dust sheets to protect areas from dust etc
- to communicate effectively with other staff, relatives, and visitors
- to assist with the movement and reinstatement of furniture and fixtures as required on site
- to be familiar with all current policies and procedures and understand your duty to comply and implement them when necessary
Requirements
- have excellent written and verbal communication skills
- have good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- the ability to work flexible hours to meet the business needs
- effective timekeeping and time management
- the ability to work effectively within a team environment
- maintenance: 1 year
