Responsibility

  • the applicant will undertake various duties dealing with commercial debt recovery, litigation and enforcement in both Scotland, and England and Wales
  • all aspects, from letters of demand to sequestration/ liquidation will be covered as training progresses
  • the applicant will have to deal with solicitors, Sheriff Clerks, enforcement officers and clients on a day-to-day basis
  • the successful applicant will be offered a two year fixed training contract with a three month exit clause
  • extra study will be required from time to time
  • the role offered is extremely varied but also very challenging

  • this position is situated in our Leith office
  • the individual will have completed a 2:2 or equivalent level degree in Law
  • successful applicants are also required to assist with the administration of the School Mock Court Case Project which is administered by Chamberlain McBain
  • the individual will have completed an accepted degree to at least 2:2 level in Law or Legal Studies
