Responsibility
- oversee production planning including, employee engagement, training, KPI’s, mentoring and developing all warehouse staff
- assist the wider management teams to create inbound/outbound resource, inventory and operational plans and forecasts
- support and maintain processes that help minimize waste and detriment to KPI’s
- working with partners such as temporary labour providers, providing data and plans to give them forward visibility
- forward planning to reduce costs and working capital through effective planning
- work closely with other planning managers to adopt new ways of working and create operational capacity plans, balancing customer demand with physical logistic capabilities
