Working hours

Responsibility
- creation of drawings, reports, and design documentation
- design and build prototypes of components, including any validation / testing methodologies
- direct communication with suppliers and contractors
- assist with flight testing, aircraft assembly, and product demonstrations
- undertake a broad spectrum and R&D tasks, such as design, computational analysis, manufacture, and testing, to create innovative solutions to engineering problems
Requirements
- genuine interest in engineering / design / aviation / unmanned vehicles
- experience of mechanical, automotive, aerospace or product design
- strong CAD skills, experience with SolidWorks preferable
- knowledge of FEA and the ability to create models and make recommendations from the results
- demonstrable technical drawing skills with the ability to use geometric dimensioning and tolerancing
- experience in hands-on work
- A degree in an engineering or scientific discipline or equivalent
