maintenance team leader
Working hours
- part-time
Responsibility
- you will be responsible for carrying out maintenance, repair and minor project works within the Hospital buildings and grounds
- you will be an important part of the team that ensures patients in our care feel comfortable in their surroundings
- this is a part-time role for 24 hours per week
- main Responsibilities
- meet with line manager and team on a daily basis to prioritise and manage work
- work in accordance with all relevant statutory compliance requirements
- as part of the team provide first line out of hours contact for Hospital Staff for urgent requests
- we are looking for someone to join our hard working and flexible grounds and maintenance team at Castle Craig, taking care of our estate and buildings
Requirements
- A degree of physical fitness in order to carry out the full range of duties required
- training on manual handling
- an NVQ level 3 in electrical engineering
- general knowledge of building services systems
- previous experience with power tools
- technical knowledge and experience in appropriate risk assessment techniques
- effective verbal and written communication skills
- ability to work under pressure
