Responsibility
- prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes
- work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- engaging with our guests to ensure they are looked after, entertained and served in a timely and personable manner
- ensure we keep to standards of service as detailed in the staff handbook
- setting up the bars effectively for optimal service and ensure consistency throughout the life of the event
- adhere to all health and safety regulations, including food safety practices
- assist in training new staff members on bartending techniques and customer service skills
- work with caterers to ensure fulfilment of the entire event goes smoothly
Requirements
- previous experience in bartending or a similar role within the restaurant industry is preferred
- strong knowledge of drink recipes, mixology techniques, and beverage presentation is also preferred
- excellent work ethic to handle busy periods efficiently while maintaining quality service
- A friendly and approachable demeanour with a genuine desire to help guests feel welcome
- ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required
- having personal transport to move to travel to and from site. Travel is usually paid for
