- about The Role
- at Care South we are recruiting for a PR Manager to join our Head Office team in Poole
- full time – permanent opportunity, at least 3 days a week at Head Office
- salary – up to £35,000 per annum, plus car allowance
- this role is exciting and varied, constantly meeting people, building relationships and story-telling
- reporting to the Head of Marketing & PR, take ownership of the PR function ensuring all the ‘good news’ stories across the charity are identified, captured and shared far and wide to the highest standard
- ideal for a talented, passionate writer, budding or ex-journalist with exceptional organisation skills who can identify opportunities, negotiate, plan, manage, produce and supply exceptional stories at speed, that capture the attention of national and local publications
- working alongside the digital & design team, gaining insights from the Customer Relations & Care teams, our aim is to showcase the great care we provide residents and clients in our care and effectively identify and reach the right audiences to drive enquiries
Requirements
- exceptional copywriting, both speed and creativity
- producing content for advertorials, editorials, newsletters and magazines
- negotiating, managing relationships & selling in stories to multiple third parties
- excellent time management and organisational skills
- accuracy and attention to detail
- photography, capturing great photos
- monitoring, tracking, reporting and delivering PR KPIs
- working knowledge of GDPR, data protection and privacy rules particularly with a focus on marketing requirements and liabilities
