Responsibility
as a Centre Manager, you will play a vital role in providing a high-quality supportive experience for children and families
we are seeking an individual with experience working with children, strong leadership skills, and excellent communication abilities
to monitor and evaluate the quality of assessment and support offered at the centre and ensure the centre makes continuous improvements
your responsibilities will include overseeing the daily operations of the centre, managing staff, planning key-work and support programmes, and maintaining a safe environment for children and families
to provide effective leadership to the team and take the lead in service delivery and quality management of the centre
provide feedback to the directors on the effectiveness of statutory and organisational policies
to ensure the day-to-day running of the service provides the environment for assessment to take place and that babies and children are protected during their stay at the centre
to ensure that parenting and supplementary programmes are facilitated daily, and the centre provides to the individual court requirements for each family
Requirements
HCPC recognised Social Work qualification
at least one year's experience in supervising and managing professional staff
inter-agency work
experience working with children in a childcare or educational setting
strong leadership and management skills
excellent communication and interpersonal skills
social work: 1 year
level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care and Children and Young People's Services; or equivalent; or preparedness to work towards the same
