purchase ledger clerk
Responsibility
- we are seeking a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join our Transactions Team on a fixed term contract until 31st December 2023

- processing and recording transactions in the purchase ledger in an accurately and timely manner
- reconciling statements and ensuring all discrepancies or issues are resolved promptly
- in this role, you will be responsible for processing account payable documents and enquiries whilst ensuring timely and accurate payments to our vendors
- maintaining vendor and supplier accounts, updating payment information where necessary
- as a Purchase Ledger Clerk, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse group of stakeholders across our Automotive and Corporate clients, as well as provide support to our internal teams
Requirements
- previous experience in a purchase ledger or accounts payable role
- good knowledge of accounting principles and purchase ledger accounts
- excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain a high level of accuracy
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to work efficiently in a high-volume and fast-paced environment
- strong organisational and time-management skills
